Linux Server Setup

Supported Distributions

  • Ubuntu 14.04
  • Ubuntu 16.04
  • Ubuntu 16.10
  • Debian 8
  • Arch Linux
  • CentOS 7
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7

Preparing

This guide is written for Ubuntu Server 16.04

run the following commands as root

  1. Refer to the Steam CMD documentation to setup steamcmd.
  2. steamcmd +login anonymous +exit

Running the Server

  1. Download it from just-cause.mp
  2. Unpack the Archive
  3. Run the Server binary
